MMN MOURNS PASSING OF SISTER MUNIRAH
Inna Lillaahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’oun (We surely belong to Allah and to Him we shall return) (Q2;156)
May Allah make her grave a place of comfort and light. May He make the questioning in the grave easy for her. May Allah s.w.t. in His mercy, grant her rest, may her grave be a part of Jannatul Firdaus and an abode of light.
Yaa Allah put Nur (light) in her grave,
Nur on her right,
Nur on her left,
Nur before her and
Nur behind her.
May Allah put Nur in what she left behind. Yaa Allah grant her NUR and make her pass successfully in all the stages of the life after death. Ameen.
May Allah s.w.t. grant her parents/family sabr (patience) in this difficult time and reward them with Khair both in this world and the next. May Allah s.w.t. enhance their recompense and be generous in their calamity and forgive our sister Munira and induce the family with patience and multiply for her parents and family recompense through patience.
Today MMN mourns with sister Munirah’s family, we remember her when we visited Firdaus for our mentorship, we remember her when she walked with us on Saturday for the #Hijabisanidentity campaign. We ask you all to mourn with us as the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) narrated a great reward for it. He said:
“Whosoever consoles a person afflicted with grief receives his selfsame reward”. (Al-Tirmidhi and ibn Majah)
“Whosoever consoles someone going through a difficult time, Allah will clothe him with the robes of honor on the day of Judgment”. (Ibn Majah)
Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, please remember her when you do sujud today. Pray to Allah to forgive sister Munira, elevate her status among the guided people and look after the parents that she left behind.
