WHY PROVIDING SANITARY PADS TO GIRLS IN RURAL AREAS IS IMPORTANT

Muslimah Mentorship Network (MMN) is organising a year-long campaign dubbed; “Share a Sanitary pad” with a girl. This is to make it easier for girls in urban communities to have easy access to sanitary pads for a stress-free menstruation.
Sadly, a lot of girls are compelled to skip school during the period of their menstruation due to lack of decent sanitary towels. The “Share a Sanitary pad” with a girl initiative will make it easier for girls to go to school even when they are in their period.
The Muslimah Mentorship Network is a group of young intellectual Muslim women who have come together to impact lives by mentoring girls.
This  menstrual hygiene management project is meant to enlighten girls on the importance of menstrual hygiene and give them sanitary pads at the end of every discussion.
With as little as 60 cedis from you, we can work together to provide a sanitary pad to a young girl to keep her in the classroom for a year.
