My name is Feruzah Wuniche Salisu, a 26 years old young woman who is passionate about making the world a better place for all its people.
As a highly motivated and result oriented administrative assistant at brew marketing consult, I have a proven track record of providing exemplary and excellent professionalism to both internal and external customers.
I recently completed from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, where I attained an MSc in Defense and International Relation. I attained my bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana where I majored in psychology and political science. I also attained a certificate in leadership from the Fredritch Ebert Stiftung Leadership School after having gone through a year training on Leadership.
I have under taken several roles with leading international organizations such as the American field service and the youth movement for Africa’s union. These placements have enabled me to develop not only the passion for cultural diversity and good interpersonal skills, but also, a valuable and transferable skill set in anywhere I find myself.
I am very passionate about women empowerment and the girl child development, this explains why I was a member, a deputy majority leader, and later, the speaker for the regional ladies parliament. My proudest moment as a young woman would be my involvement in the ongoing N’TING Hands-on Project at the Mampong School for Deaf. It gives me a great sense of joy and accomplishment to empower these physically challenged people and watch them appreciate our little efforts. We are not only acting as mentors but also empowering them with vocational and technical skills.
I am looking forward to sharing my experiences and expertise with young women through the Muslimah Mentorship Network.
