I am Asiya Osman, a Diploma holder from the University of Professional Studies in Accra. I am also an entrepreneur, a final year student of the University for Development Studies, Wa Campus. I am pursing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Commerce (Human Resource Management).
Gaining admission to UDS was not easy, but by the will of Allah approximately 4 years ago, I applied to UDS for my Top-up, I was disappointed I had to start all over again.
My mentor was very supportive and personally at that stage in my life, I was beginning to become desperate. I didn’t want to start over. I almost gave up. She helped me become the woman I am today.
I believe there are other young ladies like myself who either gave-up/are feeling crashed, or do not have an opportunity for a second chance like I did.
I also know for sure, there are younger girls like my old self who need to be saved from themselves through proper mentoring.
I hope to give back and help them achieve greatness like I was given a hand when I needed it.
